It has turned out to be my favorite piece of cold weather gear. The wool is very effective at keeiping in warmth and even shedding light moisture. The interior is sof and comfortable. I balked a little at the price at first but figured I would use it a lot. I am very happy I decided to buy it.
I think this is true to fit. I was worried about length as I have a tall body for my height. I got the tall versionand it fits perfectly. It doesn;t actually have thumb loops as stated in the description, but this has not mattered as the sleeves are plenty long. I am 6'1" and 225 with most of my height in my trunk. The xxl tall fits me loosely. I tried on the xl tall at REI and it was form fitting but comfortable if that is waht you are going for. I like the loose fit for lounging in camp or layering under for hiking.
