However, if you want to pump up bike or car tires or hard balls like basketballs or footballs, look elsewhere. It doesn't have the oompf or the adapter to do those things. Why the previous reviewer thought it worked on bike tires, I can't imagine, since you can see from the picture that it doesn't come with the appropriate adapter. Plus, it is really just a fan, not a compressor. If you need portability, buy the 12V rechargeable one. This one needs 120 VAC current.
